Bible Study Resources

Here is the plan I am following right now:   http://www.biblestudytools.com/bible-reading-plan/book-order.html   Although often I read more than several days worth in one day because I just cannot get enough of the Word of God.

And here is the next plan I will be doing, Chronological, http://www.biblestudytools.com/bible-reading-plan/chronological.html

Pentateuch means 5 books.  It is the first 5 books of the bible.  It is also called the Law or the Law of Moses.

the Hebrew Bible is called the Tenakh, TNK being the operative letters, as their bible is separated into three sections:

T = Torah, the Teaching, or Law, or books of Moses..  This is the Pentateuch.
N = Nevi'im, which is the Prophets
K = Ketuvim, which is the Writings.

The hebrew bible was translated a few times.  There is the Samaritan Pentateuch, the Masoretic Text, and there is sometimes a different translation found in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
